Name: !Display Purpose: A more modern look to choosing the Wimp Mode Author: Peter Howkins 2002 Email: peter.howkins@marutan.net IMPORTANT: This program is not really suitable for RISC OS > 3.1 because of changes to the display system on newer OSes This programs purpose is too emulate the look and feel of the RISC OS 3.5+ Display Manager (the method of choosing and inspecting the wimp screen mode) on earlier machines with RISC OS 3.1 It provides the ability to inspect the current screen modes resolution and colour depth, however you still have to specify the mode to change to by it's numerical mode argument. It includes the source code covered by the GNU General Public License. It was compiled with Acorn C v5.06 and with OSLib v5.1 If it proves useful you can get rid of the Palette Utility by typing '*rmkill paletteutil' at a command prompt.
