station is the alien Wirrn who plan to take over the earth.

its in a different time to when he left. It is now called Nerva and is 
a space beacon orbiting the remains of the planet Voga, the 
legendary planet of gold. The station is in the grip of a plague, 
which the doctor discovers is causes by cybermats (rodent killers of 
the cybermen). The cybermen are intent to destroy Voga as gold is 
one of there few weaknesses.

The doctor is called back to earth by the brigadier to investigate 
attacks on north sea oil rigs. At the centre of the attacks is the 
village of Tullock near Loch Ness. The Doctor discovers that the 
cause of these attacks is the Loch Ness monster which is in fact a 
machine controlled by the Zygons. The Zygons have been trapped on 
earth as their spaceship have been stranded at the bottom of Loch 
Ness for centuries.

Answering a mayday call the Doctor and Sarah arrive on Zeta Minor. 
A geological expedition has nearly been wiped out by an antimatter

arrives on the planet and suspects the doctor is the murderer.

Whilst the Doctor is on his way back to earth the TARDIS is pulled 
off course and lands in a house in England which in time will become 
UNITs HQ. The house belongs Professor Scarman, an Egyptologist who  
has broken in to the pyramid prison of a god like creature called 
Sutekh. The professor has been possesed by Sutekh and is intent on 
travelling to the pyramids on Mars to retrive the key which will free 
Sutekh from his prison.

to be blown up!  Unfortunately (or fortunately) Sarah is caught 
under some rock and finds a severed Hand, whcih she can't let go of.  
When awake she walks to a  nuclear research station, into the reactor 
room, where the hand begins to move, and a body begins to grow.  
The Doctor realsies this is Eldrad and decides to take her back to 
her homeworld.
